Thrift Wish List: What Are You Looking For at The Thrifts?

I've written Thrift Wish Lists before and this one might be the most mundane.  Sometimes it's the little things that make life easier! Here's what I'm hunting for this week:

[Walnut Nightstands]

1. Vintage Nightstand: They make the bedroom sexy! And will replace the ugly patio furniture I currently use...

[Vintage Plaid Drinking Glasses]

2. Nice Standard-Sized Drinking Cups: Because I have none yet have lots of people visit. (We use tea cups and beer mugs.)

 [Mid Century Modern Credenza]

3. Mod Credenza: To use as a TV stand, although I'll have to settle for a stand-in in the meantime.

[Vintage Tribal Cloth Napkin]

4. Cloth Napkins: Because I don't buy napkins and the kitchen and hand towels are always mysteriously missing...

[Vintage Swedish Mushroom Tea Towel]

5. Hand and Kitchen Towels: They're always mysteriously missing...need more!

It shouldn't be too hard for me to recover these finds in a week, I think I'll make a goal. You'll see them by my next Thrift Haul! Let's hit it and find what need at the glorious thrifts this week!

What's on Your Thrift Wish List this Year?

I'm always on the hunt for the perfect kitschy vintage goods to resell, but I also have a personal wishlist to fulfill. I found some of the long-standing items on my former list like my vintage yellow kitchen cart, red-orange tool box, and full-length mirror.

Now I need to score the following:

  [Antique Scale I have my eye on a similar one right now...]

1. Vintage Scale or Postal Scale: My scale only goes up to 2 lbs; upgrade imperative!

[Peekaboo Mod Side Table Holy Hell! Must find/make something fun like this! ]

2. Sexy Side Tables: Because my bedside table is patio furniture. Yep.

 [Mid Century Modern Credenza]

3. Mod Credenza: Because they are luscious, I tells you! I want one to sit my TV on.

 [Sunny Yellow Enamel Dutch Oven]

4. Fancy Cookery: Quality knives, pots, blenders, and barware. Hey, I can dream!

 [Mid Century Modern Hutch]

5. Mod Curio Cabinets and/or Hutches: For craft/office supplies, files, and vintage stock.

Whatever I don't find I shall set to work to make for myself as I settle into my new space.
