Tag, You're It: The Salad a Day Challenge

At the end of last year I tagged you in the New Years Goal Tag. I challenged you to list three simple goals. Now I'm tagging you again with another challenge and following up with how I did in January.

I kept up with my goals for January 2011:

1) Organization:
I organized every chance I could. I can't wait to do more!
2) Work: I received an amazing out-of-the blue offer from linked-in and applied for many more.
3)
Antique Store Booth: I made over $100 in gross sales, it's an encouraging start!

Now I Challenge You to Eat a Salad a Day with Me:

One of my resolutions was to eat more vegetables and move more. I remember that last year when I made a point to eat a salad a day, I weighed less and felt better. So now I'm setting up that habit again. I want you to join in.

Print out this calendar and mark a big red X on each day that you eat a salad. By the time you've eaten your 28 salads for February, you may keep up the routine for life!

(If you already eat a salad a day, eat two. Or eat another serving of vegetables for dinner. Challenge yourself!

1. Just eat one salad a day, anytime that is easiest. Make it a big one!
2. No dressing! All you need is a little olive oil or low fat vinaigrette.
3. Make it as colorful as possible by adding a variety of vegetables. Maximize the nutrition.

Bonus Benefit:  I haven't had a cold in a year, I thank my diet full of fruits and veggies.
In High School I was sick monthly from eating fast food and barely any vegetables!

Let's Hit It: Don't let 2011 be yet another year you don't accomplish your goals. I love how everyone seems to be putting their all into truly accomplishing what they set out to accomplish this year. This salad challenge will help you accomplish your weight-loss and healthier-living goals. I'm also starting an Organization Link Share so we can inspire each other to keep organized!
