Thrift Haul: Lady Gator Heads and Beautiful Asian Goods

A smörgåsbord of unique cargo have made their way to me through organic osmosis the past few weeks before I left for Puerto Rico. I'm not complaining, come one, come all, odd rejected things. I'll help you get to homes where you'll be loved!

First, I'd like you to meet Dot. Dot was one of many donations from my good pal Birdie, he's moving to Arizona by car and had to lighten his load. Dot and her gator pal Spot terrorized Birdie's Uncle's backyard. Animal control came to the rescue and concluded the lives of the poor creatures.

Dot makes a killer (ha!) conversation piece. Right now she's back at my casa chilling in a Halloween vignette of sorts. The Freddy Cougar record was a birthday gift from Rosaly, the music is the most amazingly cheap sellout soundtrack I've ever heard, but worth keeping just for the gorgeous art on the case!

This gorgeous Japanese style tea set was another gift. I can't wait to brew up some delicious tea and share it with friends.

And to go with my growing collection of gorgeous Asian tea cups, we have this Tiger and Dragon pair. Love everything about these cups: dramatic poses, subtle colors and composition. Beautiful pair.

I have so much merchandise to photograph, items to price, and posts/tutorials to compose! I'm excited to get back to it!

I can't possibly keep it all! Everything in my thrift haul posts is FOR SALE. E-mail me if you're interested in anything you see! I also host daily deals this blog (the haul post prices are lower than normal) and on Facebook and Twitter.

What did you find this weekend?

  6. You have better sense than I do. I am still under the impression I can keep it all...even if my house is bursting at the seams. I am sure someone will LOVE to get their hands on Dot.

    1. I try my best to clean/photograph things as soon as they come in and get rid of one piece of clothing if I get new ones, etc. Necessary evil to maintain sanity!
