Easy Aca'i Bowl Ideas: Raw, Vegan, and Nutritious. Great Breakfast, Snack or Dessert.

Raw and/or vegan alternative for deserts are my most frequently-requested recipes. I love raw vegan deserts because they're always equally as good if not better than the conventional counterparts. The real fruits, oils, and sweeteners make it just as satisfying as the real deal- but they're chock full of nutrition vs. consisting of empty calories. The deep purple of these aca'i bowls shows that they're rich with antioxidants- perfect for your skin and overall health.

Here's how to do it:

Ingredients: 1 Sambazon aca'i smoothie pack per person, Coconut shreds, bananas, fresh fruit of your choice, nuts of your choice, water and/or organic coconut milk -- sky's the limit

To Make:

Step 1) Blend your aca'i smoothie pack with 1/2 to 1 banana and 1/4 - 1/2 cups of coconut milk or water to desired consistency. The coconut milk makes it extra creamy, delicious, and nutritious. I use my vitamix to swiftly pulverize it into a creamy consistency.

Step 2) Top with sliced fruit, nuts, and coconut shreds. Get creative, use-up what you have on hand. You can blend you aca'i base with leafy greens to amp the nutritional value.

Wasn't kidding when I said this was easy! And now I am hungry, so hungry, looking at those pictures. Time to whip up some fruit bowl ideas. I have an easy (I like recipes that are done and cleaned up in minutes- we've all got shit to do) raw vegan cookie recipe coming up next time. I especially love sharing these alternative recipes during the holidays when the temptations lurk around every corner!
