Thrift Wish List: What Are You Looking For at The Thrifts?

I've written Thrift Wish Lists before and this one might be the most mundane.  Sometimes it's the little things that make life easier! Here's what I'm hunting for this week:

1. Vintage Nightstand: They make the bedroom sexy! And will replace the ugly patio furniture I currently use...

2. Nice Standard-Sized Drinking Cups: Because I have none yet have lots of people visit. (We use tea cups and beer mugs.)

3. Mod Credenza: To use as a TV stand, although I'll have to settle for a stand-in in the meantime.

4. Cloth Napkins: Because I don't buy napkins and the kitchen and hand towels are always mysteriously missing...

5. Hand and Kitchen Towels: They're always mysteriously missing...need more!

It shouldn't be too hard for me to recover these finds in a week, I think I'll make a goal. You'll see them by my next Thrift Haul! Let's hit it and find what need at the glorious thrifts this week!

What are you on the hunt for these days at the thrift stores?

  6. Great items to be looking for Van....good luck!! I will be hunting up north next week. We are driving my mom to her homestate and I've already told her that hitting a local flea market or two will be on our agenda. And, I even convinced her to rent us a mini-van (gasp!) to drive so we would have room for bringing back lots of treasures!

  7. I'm still looking for a lovely floral tunic to pair with these leggings I bought on clearance. I could also use a new "statement" piece of costume jewelry...something really wacky!

Also some new quirky things to feature on the blog...something creepy perhaps...

    1. Agreed, I'm always on the prowl for that perfect quirky item. I think I'm pretty satisfied as far as statement jewelry and clothing goes for now, though!

  8. A nice credenza is a top on mine. I saw a perfect one for $99... almost similar to one they sold downtown Toronto for $1199, but had no way to get it home. I hate it when that happens!

I just put together a top 5 of my wanted salt & pepper shakers.. if that counts!
