Sunday Goals #15: Moving, Organizing, and Getting to it!

1. Take hundreds of pictures and get that Etsy shop up THIS WEEK. No excuses. (Except moving. Oops.) 2. Down to 2 apartments. Pick the winner, do necessary prep for the move. 3. ALL the crap I want gone (that's not already donated) on Craigslist. 4. Revamp the antique store booths and stuff in as much merch as possible. 5. Eat more pie? No more pie? Okay, organize my craft & reselling supplies.

In past Sunday Goals posts I've hinted that I've been apartment hunting. I've found an amazing new roost, the hunt is officially over. The abrupt need to pack and move affected my ability to complete my tasks, but I'm excited to get settled in and organized so I can get right back to work! With a new office dedicated to reselling (making a portion of rent Tax Deductible!) I should be more productive than ever!

Goals for April 8th-15th:

1. Completely move into my new roost.
2. Scrub my old roost to perfection and paint the walls back to white.
3. Get settled in ASAP. Furniture where it belongs, all things out of boxes. (Phase I)
4. Write ahead for the blog and plot as much as possible for it.
5. Write-up a very detailed schedule to help me be as productive as possible with writing, reselling, brick and mortar plotting, and everything else that's going on!

So What are Your Goals? Dish!

It's hard, but I'm more productive when I schedule a detailed task to complete every hour, set a timer, and work fast to get things done! That's what I'll be working hard scheduling this week, detailed tasks that help me achieve the big goals in the end. I really recommend trying this method if you're having trouble getting thing done.

So what are your goals for the week? Feel free to join the goal share or leave your plans in the comments. Lets motivate each other to stay productive!

  1. I LOVE seeing your cat in these pictures. I think your kitty needs his/her own Facebook page :-)

  3. Aww, your old apartment is so cute and historic though! Just needing more space? It's hard to find a historic rental here that's not super expensive or if it is affordable it's a total wreck with tons of problems (we found out the hard way when we rented a 1930s bungalow last year... that place had so many underlying problems that we didn't really see at first til we moved in. So we moved recently after only 6 months there) Moving sux though... Can't wait to see your new pad!

    1. I love Riverside, Jacksonville. There are tons of historic rentals for affordable prices. My landlord's raising the rent and the lease is up so I figured I'd explore options. No other motivation than that ;)

  4. I do not envy you. That's a big list. But at least once you get everything moved you can relax a bit. It's always fun redecorating a new place.

We are moving end of April to the next town over to a better rental! It will be fun to be in a new space and new town. Our new place is located right between goodwill and salvation army - yay! We'll be able to thrift shop on our bicycles! Good luck with your move

    1. Sounds lovely! That's what I like about being in my area, all the antique stores I sell in and others are in biking distance. I get to ride my bike and check on sales and switch things out often.
