Sunday Goals: Getting the Merch Out, Out, Out of Here!

1. Apartment Hunt! Aaaah! 2. Everything I want to sell into boxes/out of the way to photograph for Craigslist. 3. Continue to organize bit by bit daily when I can fit it in. 4. Refine daily work schedule for maximum efficiency. 5. Photograph everything I've put aside for online sales.

I had a crazy productive and fun week! My mom was on vacation from work so we went on an impromptu road trip 6 hours south to Homestead Florida, stopping at many thrift stores and antique malls along the way. You'll see the huge array of vintage I scooped up tomorrow! The picture above is from my favorite booth in an immense antique mall we stopped at, it was full of tropical mod cuteness. Of course I took a couple of things home from that booth!

Now it's time for me to get to work and process all those sales, here's the game plan:

Goals March 18 to March 25:

1. Finally install Windows 7 on my computer and back up all files.
2. Make habit of listing all thrifted finds on Craigslist this week.
3. List all the items I set aside to get rid of last week on Craigslist.
4. Restage the antique store booths completely.
5. Make precise action steps and plans for increasing sales.

Weeklies: organizing! apartment hunting, ebook planning, brick & mortar business plan, grant search, DIYs, children's book line, jewelery making, blog refining, listing items for sale online! Lots!

What are your Goals for the Week?

What have you got planned for the week? Let's share and keep each other on-track! I'm off to finish taking pictures of this week's thrift finds. Tune in tomorrow to see the plethora of quality vintage goodies!

  4. Restaging my antique booth is on deck this week as well. My longer term goal is to have no idle merchandise that is not listed lying around the house. I am becoming better at processing my finds from the weekend usually by Monday and not having piles of inventory stacking up over the week. It's still a work in process and I have merchandise that I've put off for weeks and months but I can see I making progress!

    1. We saw the huge billboard for Wildwood on the highway and had to swing off to find it. That is so cool that I found your booth like that at random. Your booth is GORGEOUS. I was so inspired.

There was some good hunting along the way too, I must admit! Niiiice thrift stores in that area!

  7. I have a whole list of things that need to be done, but I never seem to get around to doing anything on it. Sad I know, but I'm inspired after reading your post. Now as for what my goals are for this week. Well, I have an empty room in my home that has been a catchall. 1. I intend to clear it out totally. 2. Drop off donations. 3. Finish up laundry

  8. Looking forward to what you will be showing us tomorrow! I love seeing other people's great finds! I have a large storage area (a separate building from my store) and it is a mess! Things that I've found over the winter have just been piled in there - so today my chore is to clean it and organize it. I'm dreading it a bit because it's going to be sooo much work, but kind of looking forward to it too because I know there's things in there that I've forgotten about! :-)

    1. Clearing out any mess is daunting. I'm working on some espresso so I've got the crazy energy to tackle my giant house mess.

Things always get out of whack when I craft and price... ;p
